most up-to-date unique thatch preservation method (SA Patent granted),
new and old roofs are cleaned of rot, then treated with biodegradable,
clear-coat thatch protection and fire-retardant spray. The SABS-tested
system dramatically reduces the thatch’s combustibility; prevents
the “slow fire” of fungal decay; while also protecting against:
- Insect,
bird and animal damage
- The
ingress of dust, sand and wind
- Dry
rot and beetle infestation
- Damaging

recompacting and removal of weathering stems
